Camilla is nominated by Hans von Knut Skovfoged, Creative Director at PortaPlay with the following motivation:
Camilla had just completed her education at Truemax and had become interested in working with game development after completing DADIU during her education. We brought her onboard to help us work on our small-town WWII RPG-thriller Snowfall. Where she worked on character design and character 3D modelling - exceeding our expectations by creating 15 characters in 3,5 months. Camilla has a finely developed aesthetic sense with the right crafting skills to back it up. She is also very good at doing research before "clicking away", reducing errors and getting the design right the first time. E.g. by doing historical research on clothing and color of that time, and by asking the right (and tough) questions to the other designers, about the characters personality and function in the game. Finally Camilla is really pleasant to be around. She is always happy and smiling, acting constructively and taking part in the social life in the studio. She even started a “walk and talk” tradition, where the art team would sometimes do a walk outside, to get some fresh air, revitalize the brain and talk about design challenges and solutions.
