Karina is nominated by Peter Bruun, CEO at Triband with the following motivation:
So, why don’t we make a pair of custom game controllers out of an old-fashioned dial telephone and a toaster? To most people that would be ... well ... not the most straight-forward thing to do. Karina Korsgaard Jensen just does it. Give her a handsaw and a soldering iron, and she makes interactive art. Karina’s first job in games and she's successfully released 2 content updates. She’s learning with the speed of an already released game, on top of other people's messy and abandoned projects. She maintains a calm overview, although claiming to be confused most of the time. Making games is hard. Many programmers love solving hard problems AND they like making a big deal out of it. Karina is not one of them. It just seems Karina decided a long ago that hard problems don't deserve all that attention. Karina says: "Okay I can take a look at it" and what happens next seems like effortless magic. Problem solved.
